Deleting your account

This page explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it in Walkthrough: Site Reports, Architect Walkthrough and Handover. The two Walkthrough apps work the same way; the steps below apply to both.

Using Handover? Your account works differently and there is nothing to delete from inside the app. Skip to Handover accounts.

Delete from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the app:

Open the app and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Account section.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

This permanently deletes your account and everything tied to it. It cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@lockten.ai from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll verify it's you and process the deletion for you.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your account information (name, email, and business name)
All content you captured: photos, voice narration and its transcripts, generated reports and punch lists, and project notes
Files stored on our behalf for your account (photos, meeting audio, and report PDFs in our cloud storage)

What may be retained, and for how long

Your personal information and captured content are removed within 30 days of deletion. Server logs that may contain IP addresses rotate on a standard 30-day cycle. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics that cannot be traced back to you may be kept longer. We do not sell your information, and we never use your content to train AI models. Cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription. If you subscribe through the app, cancel it in the store where you bought it:

Google Play: open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Apple: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

If you subscribed on the web through lockten.ai, manage or cancel it from the subscription link in the app's Settings, or email support@lockten.ai.

Handover accounts

Handover works differently from the two apps above. Your builder creates your access when they set up your home, so there is no sign-up in the app and nothing to delete from inside it.

To have your account and its data removed, do either of these:

Ask your builder to remove your access to the home.
Or email info@lockten.ai from the address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account.

Either way we remove your email address and your access to the home. The app's record of declined questions is kept without names attached. The home's documents came from your builder and stay with them; those are not ours to take away.

Handover is free to homeowners, so there is no subscription to cancel.
