These Terms of Service govern your use of Lock Ten Studio's website (lockten.ai), products, and services. By using our site or products, you agree to these terms.

About Lock Ten Studio

Lock Ten Studio LLC is a Maryland limited liability company. We make AI tools for residential custom builders. Our products currently include Walkthrough (an iOS and Android app for field reporting) and The Install (a productized AI workspace setup service for builder businesses).

Use of the website

You may use lockten.ai for personal and business purposes consistent with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with site availability or security
  • Scrape or copy site content in bulk without permission

Products and services

Specific terms for our products will be presented at the point of purchase or signup. Walkthrough has its own terms of service available within the app. The Install has its own delivery agreement provided to customers at purchase.

Payments

Payments for our paid products are processed through Stripe. Pricing for each product is listed on its respective product page or signup flow. By making a purchase, you agree to the price displayed at the time of transaction.

Refunds

Refund terms vary by product:

  • Walkthrough: first 14 days, satisfaction guarantee. Email josh@lockten.ai to request.
  • The Install Lite: 14-day refund window from delivery.
  • The Install Plus: 60-day satisfaction guarantee from delivery.
  • The Install Concierge: scoping conversation precedes any commitment; refund terms agreed in writing per engagement.

Intellectual property

Content on lockten.ai (text, design, images, framework descriptions) is owned by Lock Ten Studio LLC. You may share or quote our content with attribution. Reproduction in full requires permission.

Limitation of liability

Lock Ten Studio's products are provided "as is." We don't guarantee any specific business outcomes from using them. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website.

Cabin John Builders

Cabin John Builders is a separate, independent business. Lock Ten Studio LLC is not owned by, owning of, or otherwise legally affiliated with Cabin John Builders. The companies share a common founder (Josh Rosenthal) and reference each other publicly, but operate independently.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site or products after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
